Another set of trails with multiple options for places to park. Anaheim Hills Elementary is where I always park but make sure kids aren't in school otherwise this is not an option. From here you travel up the gravel fire-road to connect with the main trail area. If you go immediately to the left after the gravel road, there is a nice big boulder to hike up and have a nice overlooking view of the whole park and more.

I have mountain biked this a hundred times and actually only hiked it once. A ton of trails to choose from with the option to put on a decent amount of miles/elevation gain. A ton of bikers on these trails at all times, so keep a lookout for them cruising down the singletrack trails. From the big boulder lookout there are trails heading towards Weir Canyon Road as well as towards Irvine Regional Park. There are multiple spots to park and enter the trail system. Just noted the one I'm familiar with. The far end of the park there is a trail called Chutes, my favorite for mountain biking, give it a shot. Look up the trail maps and make a loop of your choice in distance, won't regret it. This far side can also be reached by Irvine Regional Park. I have not yet parked on this side, but have rode down close to it. Dogs are allowed on leash. Just watch out for the mountain bikers. Wear sun protective gear or lotions as it's mostly uncovered.
