My go-to hike when living in Fullerton! Do the figure-8 loop for about 6-miles and 2-hours (ish). The perfect way to explore this whole area and get a good mix of steep, steady incline, and mixing up and down. Park off Fullerton Road if the gate is closed, or park next to the horse area. Take the tree-covered trail to the left until you reach a 4-way trail crossing.

From here go up the left and take this all the way up and over, until you are heading down briefly. Then it makes a "T', here, go right. One more area where you'll need to make a right instead of continuing down to the other side of the park. This will connect you back to the trail you went up at the 4-way. Go down it and then up the trail straight across at the 4-way. From the top of this go to the slight right trail and make your way around the perimeter and back to the front(Fullerton Road). Once you reach the road, you'll see a small trail going to the right. This will take you back to the horse area. Want something challenging? At the 4-way continue straight if you were coming from the beginning and at the bottom of this hill, slightly to the left. Hike up that bad boy! You'll see it with ease and it's a steep butt kicker. You can make your own loop, or just go up and back down, depending on how difficult you'd like to make it. So get out there and explore. Also one time I had found this really cool, hand-made chair...unfortunately a few times after, the chair was no longer there.
