Hollywood Sign Hike

One of the most iconic hikes to do if visiting L.A. I have done this hike two different times and both just consist of a constant paved incline to atop the Hollywood sign. Only a few miles roundtrip...maybe 3-4. Hard to remember, it's been so long. Also have no idea where we parked the first time. I was a passenger along for the ride. The second time I parked at Lake Hollywood Park. If you are in somewhat decent shape, this hike is a piece of cake. Families, dogs, and celebrities flock here daily. No shade. Wear sunscreen and plenty of water for those of you who burn easily and aren't hydrated enough prior to the hike. It'snot very long as I mentioned but it can get pretty warm in L.A. The worst part of this hike in my opinion is the paved trail and amount of people. ALWAYS SO CROWDED. Would only recommend this for someone new to the area and interested in seeing the Hollywood sign up close and personal. If you're wanting a true nature hike, this is not the one. Runyon Canyon would be a better mix of the two but still too city like. Will be bogging about Runyon canyon in the next week.
(DISCLOSURE: I can't find my pictures so I will use one from DiscoverLosAngeles.com.)
This is the view you get from above/behind the sign.
