Bonita Falls

To reach this 100-foot waterfall all it takes is a quick 2-mile roundtrip rock hopping jaunt. Soooooo many people and a ton of graffiti everywhere. Little different than what I'm used to or looking for in nature. For being in L.A. and O.C.'s backyard it is a nice little getaway regardless, but I would not recommend this hike for any avid hikers. Not challenging at all and way too many people. Don't expect to get a good workout or burn a lot of calories. It is family-friendly though and an easy one if that's what you're going for. You need an adventure day pass or annual pass, which can be bought at a local REI or ranger station on the way up. Dog friendly if on a leash, uncovered, but not enough time in the sun to worry too much.
